I know we started discussing this game in the PS+ topic.. I've put about 3 hours into the game so far. I like that the game is a bit challenging and so retro. It takes no advantage of the PS4's capabilities at all except for the reload sound effects from the controller's speaker. How far is everyone in it? I've made it up to the Steel Soldier mission and moments before I beat the guy, he stomped on me and finished off my third life. I completely see his pattern now so I doubt I'll have a hard time with him again.

What weapon are you currently using? I'm really enjoying the Artillery Jager with the large magazine and long range barrel (I can't remember which one). The amount of bullets that gun spits out easily makes up for the lower damage it causes. But it definitely needs that barrel for long range. The short range default is ridiculously short range. I'm thinking about trying out that hand cannon to see how effective I would be with too. Have any of you tried the different ammo that causes element damage?

And I'm going to get that BBQ knife when I have the materials for it, just because it is nick named the "BBQ knife". XD

I've only played 2 or 3 missions so far. I really need to get going. The time limits are pretty intense at times. I cut it down to the wire when you have to free the 8 hostages.

The time limit can be down right frustrating. x_x I tried that steel soldier mission again and I don't know why, but the damn guy never came out onto the map until I had only 7 minutes left of the 20 minute timer. wtf. I could have beaten him but I ran out of time. -_-; I bought the hand canon.. It has only 2 bullets but it averages a minimum of 400+ to 900+ damage per shot with a random critical hit of 1900. O_O I'll have to get better with my knife tho.. 2 shots don't help much against 3 enemies or small mandrakes jumping around.

Uncharted 4 is $20. I just bought it. I might have to put Mass Effect on the back burner.

The new PlayStation 4 firmware update will include external HHD support for game installation. Finally. I honestly didn't realize the original PS4s even had USB 3. They are also finally adding custom wallpapers via screenshots. About damn time. The wallpapers in the online store are complete garbage. I'd still prefer to use my own .jpg files like on the PS3, but modders used that feature as a way to hack the system which is why we never got the functionality in PS4. Using a screenshot is completely fine with me.

Nvidia is launching an online game streaming service called GeForce NOW.
I'm going to quote myself here from another topic:
With Playstation having it's own streaming service and now Nvidia making it's own service, having to own physical consoles and PCs specifically for gaming might come to an end within our lifetimes.
The downside to the Nvidia service is the cost. I've been seeing the numbers "$25 per 20 hours of gaming" floating around alot. If so, thats a hell of an expense for now.

Am I the only one suffering from steam sale fatigue? Maybe its just me but ever since they changed the store to the design it is now nothing in the store appeals to me anymore. Its probably because of the massive influx of every game from every independent developer. Theres so many games on there that I never look at what new games came out anymore because in any given week 40+ new games were released and 250+ games are listed in their weekly sales. I stopped looking and only pay attention to humble bundle sales now. Even with the steam sale going on now I don't see any huge sale thats leaping out at me to take my money anymore. Sure I still have a backlog of games but there seems to be less and less new AAA or indie games that I'm interested in for PC. Unless its a game I want for console I hardly look at the steam store anymore even though I use steam on a daily basis.

For only $150 the Hori’s Tactical Assault Commander (TAC) Pro will give everyone on ps4 a huge advantage with mouse and keyboard controls. According to the box art of the product it is officially licensed by Sony and it's being sold at Gamestop and amazon. But if this is actually officially licensed then why doesn't Sony just allow keyboard and mouse input directly to the console so people don't have to pay $150?
