Keanu Reeves makes an explosive return to action-adventure in 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors.

As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.

Helmed by director Carl Rinsch (The Gift), 47 Ronin is produced by Scott Stuber (Ted, Identity Thief), Pamela Abdy (Identity Thief, upcoming Endless Love) and Eric McLeod (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Austin Powers series).

I'm surprised to see Keanu Reeves in a new movie. Instead of 300, its only 47.

Oddly enough I thought Tom Cruise did a wonderful job in The Last Samurai, it's one of the only movies I actually like him in. As long as Keanu can pull it off (and not act like he usually does) I think this will be a good movie. Seventh Son looks good but honestly they have the same feel to them. Then again that could be because I've basically given up on Hollywood making good movies anymore.

I loved Ronin Warriors. A live action movie of that would be epic. On a side note, I tried watching the japanese version of it and wow.. the english version was completely edited.. even names were swapped with different characters.

I think he did good in it too. I've seen it a couple times now and its one of the few movies hes in that I actually bought on dvd. I don't care for most of his other roles, hes usually all action and no substance. I think Keanu needs to redeem himself acting wise. I didn't care for him in the Matrix movies, but the guy does have some acting skill, he just keeps getting roles that don't really seem fit for him IMO. Although he owned in Bill & Ted. XD

It was a fun movie, they didn't stay true to the games at all with most of the plot coming from the fourth game but overall it was good special effects and kept a good pace with plenty of action. Although it did feel toned down with gun fights considering the amount of shooting takes place in the games. I'm guessing they did that to keep the rating family friendly. Tom Holland still looked way too young for the role imo.

Very interesting. Spider-man, Doctor Strange and the multiverse. This should be a fun movie.

I wasn't that interested in this movie because its based in the past, but now that I've been sucked into Battlefield 1, this movie looks amazing. I know DICE likes to put easter eggs in their games so I wonder if we'll see an amazon warrior reference somewhere in a future dlc. On a side note, I thought we had a Wonder Woman topic already for the teaser trailer, but I didn't see one.

Awesome movie. I watched it a couple days ago. One of the best movies of 2020 for me. Very fun, energetic, great CGI and the monsters were all pretty damn cool and unique.

The Disney princess part at the end is great. I loved the first movie.
