Joe Rogan does alot of fitness stuff, exercise, dieting, etc. Its interesting about the carnivore diet. I'm really interested in seeing his blood work because I bet his cholesterol will go through the roof. I bet most people lose weight with the diet because all the fat acts like a natural laxative and they're all shitting so much the food doesn't get absorbed as much as a regular meal. Going all meat only doesn't make sense to me. It inspired me to check a few more videos:

I think it works as well as it does for this guy because of his family's biology is all kinds of messed up. What works for some people might not work for everyone. In this case if this guy can get all benefits he can then good for him and his daughter. I don't think this diet is a cure all, but just like some people's bodies can't tolerate milk or have nut allergies, some people might have serious reactions to a much larger amount of foods than they might think.

This is a long one, but I think the vegan comparison near the end of the video can apply to the carnivore diet as well. The elimination of all the refined carbs and sugars is probably the single most significant thing. Going from an average American diet of fast food to just meat is probably just as healthy as going full vegan just because its taking all the junk food out of the equation.

Depends on your lifestyle as well as far as activities go. The ep with Glenn Villeneuve, he basically ate nothing but tons of meat and animal fat all winter and his cholesterol was surprisingly below average still.  But all he did every day was hunt for food and stay alive in Alaska. Genetics also factor into it.

I would never go full carnivore because I like Buffalo Wings too much. And Vegans have super charged my FOMO on eating meat. So nowadays I have a Non-Vegan Diet where at least 6 days a week I eat foods that Vegans can't eat. The day I consider a Non-Vegan Vegetarian Diet 6 days a week is the day that Cultured Meat takes over The Meat Industry.

Also here is Joe Rogan's opinion so far about him being on The Carnivore Diet.

LMAO! All the shitting. XD At least its working good for him so far. Its interesting because just meat and fat should be kicking in ketosis. It makes me wonder if theres other things going on when doing a huge dietary change like this. Like instead of ketosis some other kind of metabolic change takes place that just doesn't have a name yet because it hasn't been fully researched. I remember reading that Joe Rogan has a financial stake in a supplements company so I'm wondering if he'll keep up with taking supplements or if hes going full on meat only to see how his vitamin levels, potassium, etc. will all be affected.

My genetics are whacky, I think everyone's are because we're all unique. I had a grandpa that couldn't eat any kind of mushroom because it would cause painful gout in his foot within minutes of eating them, I have a brother that is mostly lactose intolerant, I have a sister in law with a gluten allergy and another sister in law's sister that has crohn's disease and that is some serious dietary restrictions for her. As for me I can't handle butter. If I eat buffalo wings my ass will be on fire that night because that buffalo sauce is 50% butter and it shoots through me like exlax. x_x I prefer ground turkey over beef for almost all applications now except for hamburgers. I'll eat pork loin, chicken, beef and venison, especially cooked in the smoker during the summer. The longer I go without eating greasy fatty foods like bacon or fried foods like fries, the less I crave them. Maybe my body is telling me something. lol. I do get cravings for salad some times. I'll look at some salad mix or a pepper at a store and its like its calling to me to be eaten. XD I'd be tempted to try this carnivore diet but I bet it gets boring and expensive quick. And all that diarrhea Joe's having.. screw that. XD

Going down the rabbit hole on YT I came across this. Who ever did this is a piece of shit, but I'm glad it has a happy ending. I subbed his channel even though the incident is a year old.

I can crap on new Star Wars, but big respect to the actors and Abrams.

Spoiler, he took supplements.

Good for Joe. Props to the people that can do this diet on the long term. Its interesting how the body can adapt to just meat. Although I still think the elimination of everything else in the diet is the real interesting thing. As soon as he started eating pasta and other foods he got inflammation again. Its probably not that eating meat reduces inflammation, its probably has more to do with what hes not eating thats caused the reduction in inflammation. Maybe its just pasta.. maybe its just refined sugars. Everyones body is different. And no blood work mentioned yet. lol.

The flu is so much more dangerous right now. The media loves to keep everyone in a state of perpetual fear or anger. Its all click baits to. Because its something new there is no existing google search results. So the more they talk about it, the more traffic they'll flood to their sites, the more ads they sell and the more viewers they get, until those search results become saturated and then they move onto the next new scare inducing click bait thing.

In a surprising move, Amazon has purchased Twitch, beating out the looming Google / YouTube acquisition.
This should be a good move for twitch. Amazon definitely has the hardware to support the site.

Twitch is now deleting all past broadcasts unless they are set as "Highlights" which is annoying.. but I like the new export feature. You can now stream to twitch, then export that video to your youtube account to permanently save the clip. I tried doing this tonight and got an error message stating that their exporting function is currently down due to heavy load.

I have been uploading my PS4 videos to youtube for a while now and I wanted to make this guide to explain how it is done. Until the Playstation 4 gets an update that will allow direct video uploading / sharing to youtube, the only option available is to upload your videos to facebook. In this quick guide I explain how to save your uploaded video off of facebook in HD and then how to upload it to youtube. It is very easy.

First off, you have to have a facebook account and you have to connect your PS4 account to it. If you don't want to share your videos to your friends and family, then set your PS4 to share only visible to you. Or make a group on facebook, add the friends you want to see your videos to it and then go back to your PS4 facebook settings and select that group to share videos with. Once you do that, then follow this guide for sharing to youtube.

      1) You need Firefox and the Video DownloadHelper addon installed. If you already have firefox then install the addon. If you don't like firefox and prefer chrome, then good for you. Install firefox and this addon anyway just for saving your videos. You can get them from these links:

      http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

      https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

As you can see in this picture, the addon will add an icon with menu drop down to the top right of the browser:

      2) Play a game on your PS4 and share a video to facebook. Its best if you give the video a name because it makes the video have a noticeable click-able link on facebook. On facebook, go to your timeline and click on the name of the video. This will take you to a page specifically for the video and not a popup lightbox version. You will want to be on the video page itself. If you don't name the video, you'll have to click the "your name shared a video" link instead.

      3) Now that you are on the video page, do not play it. Instead click the HD button to initiate playback in HD.

      4) Once the video is playing you will notice that the Video DownloadHelper icon is now animated and colorful. This means there is a video loaded that you can save. Click the icon and save the video.

      5) For some reason, my screenshot did not grab the drop down menu. It shows the video name as a large garble of numbers and letters because that is how the video is saved on facebook. So rename the video to whatever you want but make sure it keeps the .mp4 extension. Also, if you accidentally started playing your video before hitting the HD button, there will be two .mp4 files listed in the Video DownloadHelper drop down. Because the file names make no sense, simply hover over each one to see the file sizes of the videos. Whichever is the largest is the HD video you want to save.

      6) Your PS4 video in HD is now saved. All you have to do now is upload it to youtube. I'm assuming you have a youtube account. Sign in, click the upload link shown in this screenshot. It will bring you to this upload screen. Click the large red upload icon and select the video(s) you want to upload.

      7) Now that your video is uploading, give the video a name, description and type in a bunch of tags so people can find your video easier. Choose a screenshot for your image or make your own, save it and you are all set.

      8) Your Playstation 4 HD videos are now on youtube.
