Chuck Norris Probably Ruined 'Expendables 2' by Making It PG-13

"On Expendables 2, they had a lot of hard language in there that would prevent young people from going to see it, and I said, 'I don't do movies like that ... If you can't take out all the hardcore language, then I can't do it. And so, they did, and they made it a PG-13 film so kids can go see it."

Booooo!!! Expendables 2 will be a family film!? wtf. It should be an adult movie! Not family! :x

I didn't care for the first one even when it had an R rating. So this doesn't affect that I won't be seeing the second one either.

Two of my gripes with the first being the dumb debate about guns vs throwing knives. (Easy answer guns because if throwing knives were faster guns wouldn't exist.)

My other gripe being no one on The Expendables was expendable. It just ended with a "that's the moral of this story" buddy round up.

Rambo (2008) was what I expected Expendables to be like, but it wasn't, was waay watered down. I don't mind the PG rating, I'm going to see it for other reasons and not just the gore/ cusses.

I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.

I liked the first movie because of the action scenes and yeah, some of the gore that come along with that.. What I don't want to see is Chuck Norris's personal opinions/feelings affecting the overall movie. Chuck Norris is good for action, but his personal views are ridiculous and beyond outlandish and damn near insulting. O_O

My other gripe being no one on The Expendables was expendable. It just ended with a "that's the moral of this story" buddy round up.

Thats so true. X'D

Meh, Its pretty hypocritical as his early B action films had cursing, nudity, and sex in them. But in reality, strong language does nothing for me either way. A bunch of dick and balls references in a comedy flick is one thing, but If damn is the worst they say in an action flick, it doesnt matter to me one way or the other. As long as there is plenty of action, big guns, explosions, and dying, thats all I care about.

Not defending Chuck in anyway, but maybe this helped them actually write a script with creative dialog, since they can't rely on a bunch of fucks, asses, shits, and what not. lol... hopefully theres no, gosh, geez, darns, and whatnot... then we'll know how untalented the writers were. X'D

I have noticed the selection isn't nearly what it used to be. Back in the day I'd search for a movie and 80% of the time it was on netflix. Now I don't even use the search feature because the last 20 movies I've searched for are never on there. Netflix used to be this great replacement to blockbuster with every movie made available, but now it looks like all the content rights holders and networks are pulling their properties off and either selling the rights to other streaming services like Amazon Prime or Hulu or they're making their own streaming service like CBS all access. I'm tempted to cut my cable and switch to streaming only services but I still haven't found a combo of apps or services that will give me the channel selection or content I fully want. I already have amazon prime and netflix. But to replace cable I figure if I go with Sling blue with HBO and starz, hulu, hbo go (part of my cable package now), and over the air HD antenna I'd have the majority of the channels I watch with cable except for science channel. I'd probably save about $30 a month over my current cable plan. Anyone use Sling?
Also, with the companies pulling their content from netflix and making their own streaming services, maybe in the near future cable will actually be a good deal again compared to being nickel and dimed by all the different apps? I do like seeing different streaming services offering competition like Sling and PlayStation VUE, but I still feel on the fence about actually cutting off my cable for streaming only.

If Nintendo had Pixar make their movies while maintaining control of the property so another "Super Mario Bros." live action fiasco never happens again, they could make some really awesome movies. But if Nintendo teams up with some companies in Japan that did the live action death note or attack on titan movies, this could lead to some huge flops.
