Batman comics?

7 posts in this topic

Okay so a friend of mine and I have been catching up on some Batman reading just for fun. I recently purchased Batman R.I.P. and I have to say Grant Morrison is one of the best and yet worst writters I have ever seen. He's great until it gets to the freaking climax of the story, then it just turns into a big spastic acid trip. Does anyone else see this or am I just to old to understand the symbolizim ;) of comics now?

:picknose:

Maybe it's all the "Pool-O-Vision" but I thought comics were supposed to be big spastic acid trips...

...

Wait what was the big spastic acid trip?

Did Batman's spirit possess Tim Drake & force him to pinch Bane's butt, resulting in a punch that launched Tim out of his boots & led to a fight amongst the other attendees?

the knightfall series was damn good. Bane was a great evil guy. Remember the movie Batman and Robin? Bane as dumb lackey muscle guy for Poison Ivy was even worse than the nipples on their costumes.
