I patched the fuel line

Today I put a small piece of cut fuel line over my existing fuel line with a hose clamp, I had it set just up from the leak so when I took off the old patch I would be able to quickly slide it down the fuel line and tighten it over the leak. Unlike when I first found the leak and quickly patched it up while sliding on top of snow and ice, I was able to put the truck up on my car ramps to get plenty of room to work with. Those ramps have paid for themselves already. ^_^

So after I had the new patch ready to tighten up, I cut off the small zip ties and unwrapped the nitrile disposable glove finger that was keeping the fuel line from leaking initially. Once it was off, instead of a small leak, the gas started pouring out like a small piss stream. guh! But! I was able to get the new patch over it and tighten it down quick enough that I did not get a huge gas mess. I didn't even get any on my clothes. And since I had some disposable gloves on, everything worked out great. Before I finished up, I moved the gas line around a bit and secured it to other hoses with zip ties to make sure it was clear from hanging around the frame. Its no longer leaking and I'm quit certain this patch will be quit permanent.

Now I just have to get a new long neck funnel so I can put some seafoam in the tank to finish my clean up job.

The only other maintenance I have planned is to get the transmission fluid replaced at some point in the near future as it is seriously past due. The only fluid I actually forgot to change over the past couple years. -_- Oh, and the fuel filter should be replaced soon too. Its recommended change is every 30,000 miles, the car is at 100,000 so I'd say its past due too. -_-

Fairy Tail is over.. and the final chapter was decent. No hentai fluff crap like I was expecting. Instead it had a nice retrospect back to the first handful of chapters of the entire series. As much as I hated and complained about the ending, I will miss this manga. Its hard to believe I've been reading it for 11 years. I'll have to pick up some other manga to read now.

My PS3 died today. It was one of my favorite consoles of all time and the best bluray player ever. I tried everything to fix it except buy a new power adapter. If I buy a multimeter I can test it to see if thats the issue or not. But I'll probably be better off putting the $30 that would cost towards a newer model refurbished one. I would just get another ps4 for my living room, but I still have a bunch of ps3 games I still want to eventually play.

Whether you were a big fan or not today is a tragic loss for the music world. Chester Bennington, lead singer and front man for Linkin Park, was found dead today at 41.
I was a huge LP fan when I was younger (though I sort of lost touch with them over the years, their music past Meteora was so so) so this hits pretty hard for me. Their music, his music, helped me through a lot.
RIP Chester, though you're gone your music and message will always remain.

My new kitten Maggie is not giving me an ounce of privacy or free time. x_x We have been slowly integrating her in with our dogs and after the last couple days they seem to be getting along just fine now. We had to take her to the vet a few days ago to check her spay operation from the shelter. It was slightly infected. She got antibiotics, a fresh staple and has had a cone on her head since then and it won't come off for another week. She likes to knock over everything and almost spilled my glass of water on my laptop. x_x

One year later my Cinch Controller is still running strong. I'm glad I went with this over Scuf. Scuf is the most popular, but they seem to be Xbox experts... even then I hear their paddles break within a year or less. Overwatch is what I've used to utilize on the most. Nier Automata is another but its not competitive. Every shooter I play I swap the right stick to crouch and O to melee. Being able to jump and melee without taking your fingers of the sticks has been a huge advantage. It at least helps you close the gap on 2 of the 3 advantages those mouse/keyboard modders have on console FPS. It's baffling how Sony and MS haven't cut Cinch, Scuff, Sharq, and all the others out of the equation by making their own controllers with programmable under-buttons.
