X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - Official Trailer (2014)

Sledgstone

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from "X-Men: First Class," in an epic battle that must change the past -- to save our future.

Is it just me, or are they making this movie to retcon how the original movies ended?

Yes... X-Men 3 was horrible. But just like that movie had too much focus on wolverine, so does this one. I know Hugh Jackman looks and sounds like Wolverine, but I'm starting to get a bit burned out on the constant emphasis of this character.

X-Men: Days of Future Past | Official Trailer 3 [HD]

Bonded by war. United by hope. See the X-Men face their greatest challenge together in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

This movie looks far better than the previous X-Men movies Fox has made. They should have started off with Sentinels in the first movie. I'm glad they're finally making a decent X-Men movie, but I wish Fox would just sell the property back to Marvel. Two things that throw me off in this trailer.. the sentinels look cool at first, but they seem to lack a lot of detail. Also.. Quicksilver is in this movie and he will also be in the new Avengers 2 movie. Maybe Fox leased Quicksilver from Marvel? I'm very surprised to see the same character will be used in different movies.

Even if the original sentinels look kind of goofy I can't help but to find that big white circle on these ones as an eye sore.

I think Marvel is in the process of removing Mutant Origins for certain characters that appear in Avengers more than X-Men. Quite frankly the only reason to why Fox tried to associate all mutants or mutant related characters to X-Men was to prevent other studios from making movies.

Like how there was a plan to try to make Deadpool a spin-off of Blade.

Speaking of Deadpool (IF they ever make the movies) I'd still want to see the first as Rated R.

Marvel could still however get Deadpool back if or when its pointed out that Weapon-X is part of the Weapon-Plus program that goes all the way back to trying to recreate the Captain America program.

But would I really want to see a guy who kind of looks like Spider-Man, with guns, history as a mercenary, & hamburger looking face in a PG-13 movie?.... I'm pretty certain I already saw that movie.... *cough*spawn*cough*.... Honestly Deadpool shouldn't do that. Especially since he came out over a year before that other guy who basically sounds a lot like what he already is.... Well minus cape.

I know Ant-man is going to be in the next avengers movie and there was speculation about him getting his own origin movie. Honestly, I'm glad they'll skip that and bring him right into it. I just hope they don't screw up his character like how the mandarin was completely off in iron man 3. If ant-man is done right he will look amazing as a massive giant.

As for x-men.. I'm starting to loose interest in the constant focus around wolverine. If fox can't do something else with this property and all the characters they have at their disposal then they should just stop.

It depends. I've only seen that movie once and I thought it was far better than the previous x-men movies also. First class was also much better than the wolverine origin movie too. Days of future past looks like an action sequel to first class like Aliens was to Alien. I think it'll blow away x-men 1 & 2 and depending if it has a decent mixture of plot to go with the action then I'll probably enjoy it more than first class because I enjoy over the top action movies. I'm still not going to rush out to the theater to watch it tho because all of the x-men movies have disappointed me with their characters not being true to their comic counter parts.

The first X Men movie wasn't too bad. But Days Of Future Past was sort of a train wreck, not as bad as X 2 or X 3, which doesn't say much. Plus, I think the makers of the movie forgot X 3 even happened considering there are continuity mistakes. Plus Ellen's character ... what's up with her special ability? Did they just make that up for this movie and why couldn't she use her power in X 3? Did they also forget the situation with Magneto at the end of X 3?

The best parts of Days Of Future Past were with the quick guy. As much as I like Fassbender, the movie didn't work for me. So far this year, the best comic book movie has been Captain America 2.

X3 was such a horrible mistake of a movie, that all future x-men movies must disregard it or they would have to reboot the entire franchise. As far as I know, days of future past was screwed to begin with because it was up to this movie to somehow fix how X3 ended.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
