So some scientists purposefully made giant mutant Turtles to be heroes I guess? And then trained them to be ninjas instead of giving them modern weaponry? At least it doesn't sound like they are aliens from another planet anymore. I'm guessing there is no Splinter, underground sewer base or Turtle van anymore. The turtles are huge too. O_O The trailer screams Michael Bay.. I'm surprised it wasn't filled with constant explosions. I did see that Nickelodeon logo at the beginning. That'll keep the movie from being too gritty.. The last movie with a Nickelodeon logo I saw was the Last Air Bender.. one of the worst movies ever made.

Not surprised or shocked by this piece of shit trailer. This sort of thing appeals to today's generation? So be it. It's the same thing I've said before about bad movies making tons of money versus movies with substance these days. Expect sequels to this, like other pathetic movies - Transformers or Resident Evil or The Hangover or Twilight or Taken or 300, etc.

No offense to your high horse Pchan, but no one here was surprised. Everyone here pretty much knew Michael Bay would ruin TMNT. Just like everyone here should know how

  1. JJ Abrams is a bad choice for Star Wars.
  2. M Night Shyamalan not having a good movie since The Sixth Sense.
  3. Harrison Ford being Indiana Jones at his age was a bad idea.
  4. An American Dragon Ball movie would suck.
  5. Warner can't comprehend how to make good superhero movies beyond Batman.
  6. A PG-13 Robocop remake would be bad.
  7. Sony's Spider-Man reboot is pure crap.
  8. Godzilla (2014) lacks the charm of the Godzilla sequels.

I only said I wasn't  :blush2:

PG-13 RoboCop on the contrary was not dismal, as a lot hoped and predicted it would be. Overall, a decent effort. Not as good as the new Dredd and not as bad as it was made out to be.

Agreed and anyone else being Harrison Ford I'd say is a bad idea. That series is done and should be put to rest.

The Amazing Spiderman was a decent outing, not absolutely fantastic but decent enough to make me curious to watch the shitty CG this-looks-like-a-video-game movie trailer. On the first outing, the action was fun and believable. The cast was a problem for me. The new one thankfully is directed by the same director, so who knows, hopefully it won't suck as much as it looks it would (remember Thor 2?). Either way, it's a franchise that was rebooted too soon, much like Transformers 4 or -1 or whatever it is that it's trying to be.

Definitely, Godzilla 2014 lacks Roland's magic wand ... for the best. I know what you mean though, about earlier sequels. Too early to tell and the trailer looks serious business.

Did you really go watch this film AND the latest Transformers film? I decided never to watch another Michael Bay film ever again....

I actually liked TF1... but hated TF2... subjected myself to TF3 on Netflix... in which it took me 2 days to finish... and I regret it.... never again....

I'm going to watch the new transformers solely because Shia LaBeouf is not in it. I doubt it'll be good, but other reviews I've read say its the best TF so I'll give it a try even tho it seems like it will disappoint me anyway, which it probably will.

This TMNT movie must be better than TMNT 3. I'll watch it just to try and erase TMNT 3 from my memory once and for all. XD

Yep, in the theater because a pal visiting me from Canada wanted to check it out. He picked this over Expendables 3, much to my anguish but a guest is a guest and I'd honor their pick. The movie sucked as much balls as the new Transformers and reminded me of the last really bad movie I had to see in a theater with another friend, about 2 cops, supposed to be funny, with that short guy in it, frakkin miserable hours of my life.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
