Homing shot doesnt lock on. I was thinking of Ion Shot... its been a while since I've played. Supremacy would be so awesome if the spawns would be more random. It seems like DICE went really hard out of there way to make this game casual and not a reskin that they overdid it. I feel bad for them because they had a task that was a lose/lose situation from a casual standpoint. They should have made it more like BFBC2 and dealt with the crybabies.

I tried some more fighter squadron and I just can't seem to get a good feel for it. Its as frustrating for me as jet air superiority was in battlefield 4. It probably wouldn't be so bad if the hero ships were removed tho. The hero ships are completely out of place in this game mode. Someone always gets it at the beginning of the round and stays in that ship until the round is over. Nobody can kill it. If I see the millennium falcon while I'm on the empire team, I stay as far away from it as possible. If the entire team actually tried to take it down at once it might be doable after we all respawn and do it again. It has so much hp and shields that I've only seen it go as low as 1/4 hp before the round ends. And everyone gets killed by that hero ship an almost guaranteed 2 times minimum. It feels like I'm cannon fodder in this mode.

After playing more rounds, I've come to the conclusion that they need to remove hero pickups altogether. Keep heros in the game but make them completely rng and have people auto spawn as the hero as a nice surprise. That way everyone has a chance at getting it in every game. As it is now tho, I've still seen the same people get the hero pickup over and over again. A few times I've lucked out and got a hero pickup only to die because it spawned in front of an enemy spawn location. It makes sense that I actually got it tho, because everyone that knows the hero pick up locations knows to stay away from that location apparently. -_-;

Heh, I wish I could last forever in a hero ship. Last time I flew the Slave 1 I was killed by a suicidal X-Wing with back up from the Falcon. Fighter Squadron isn't for everyone, I learned that back when the game first released. While I like it and I can dominate in it I will admit that there are quite a few problems that do need to be fixed (random spawn locations (spawning from the same place all the time makes it easy for others to camp), less powerful hero ships (at least nerf the Falcon, the ship is OP), and for fucks sake add in a VOIP system (the mode would be so much more fun if you had the ability to talk to your fellow pilots and coordinate attack plans)).

Meh, I guess I've never really had trouble spawning in as a hero on an enemy's spawn point. Then again I usually only pick up hero tokens as an Imp because Boba Fett is by far the best hero in the game and being surrounded with him is like locking a kid in a candy store, free kills (homing missile plus flamethrower is a deadly combo when surrounded). I honestly think this game would be a 100 times better if they removed heroes from the game completely. Go back to old school Battlefront when it was just grunts troops against grunt troops (we're talking the first game). That was fun as all hell (even if it didn't have multiplayer functionality back then (only on the PC/Mac version)) and it only had a conquest style game mode. Then again heroes sell so it's not surprise they're in this shitty game with awesome graphics.

If either of you are on Battlefront the same time as me or my brother (he gets on at different times than me mostly), send either of us a party invite. Even my brother knows this game is best played with a partner you can coordinate with. He said as long as hes not in that one split screen mission he likes to play with his wife, he'll put on his headset and jump into any game mode. Hes even good at fighter squadron.

      My parents visited me over the weekend. Had a great time.  I wish I lived in the same state as the rest of my family so I could see them all more often.

      Finally got around to watching Black Mirror since, you know, I'm bored because I can't work (and as much as I try I just can't bring myself to play anything game wise outside of FFXIV and a little bit of Destiny (I'm stuck at 267 and have no urge to do the Exotic quests and I really don't want to level another character right now)).
      Gotta say this is definitely one of my favorite shows now. Really love how they're stand alone episodes that have no interconnection with each other (well they seem to all take place in the same year and same world (based on little hints I picked up in various episodes) but they're completely separate stories of their own). Some of the episode are really fucked up (the last episode of season 3, while not fucked up, is pretty fucking dark and has given rise to a new fear for me (saying what it is will ruin it if you haven't seen it), still one of my favorite episodes though) and some are really well thought out and emotional (the San Junipero episode is really fucking good).
      All around it's a great fucking series (better be it's British, yeah I have a thing for British television) and I highly recommend it. Figured I'd start Stranger Things this weekend since it sounds like I'll be out of work for another week (according to my surgeon's nurse when I talked to her on the phone, I'll find out more tomorrow) and be ready for when season 2 airs in Oct.

      My mattress has been killing my back and sides for over a year now. I kept adjusting how I was sleeping, got a mattress pad, etc. Screw this thing. I bought a mattress in a box from walmart.com for cheap. $140. I thought about getting a memory foam one but I read that they trap heat too easily so I went with a Slumber 1 brand coil spring.
      Sure as hell this mattress showed up in a box. It was vacummed sealed in a bag, folded and rolled up. When I broke that plastic seal it inflated so damn fast that it made a whistling noise thru the plastic bag as I was cutting it open. lol. It feels pretty comfortable so far but I have to let it air out for "full recovery" for 48 hours. I'd have rather gotten an expensive really nice beauty rest mattress or something else from a mattress store, but I'm tight on funds. This seems decent enough for now.

      Well yesterday was fun. Had really bad abdominal pain and ended up in the ER only to find out I had acute appendicitis and had to have surgery (all in all spent 10 hours in the ER, got home at 4:30 this morning). Now I'm in pain and out of work for at least a week. At least I get Vicadin as my pain killer (whenever my mother pucks the prescription up, I can't drive for the next week so yea).
      Guess it's time to get caught up on my anime and game backlogs.
