Rambo The Video Game - Trailer

Sledgstone

I remember playing Rambo on the original NES and it was horrible. Now Rambo has made a come back to video games.. a console generation too late. This game looks like it should have been released about 4 years ago and pales in comparison to whats on the market now. Rambo will be released on February 18, 2014.

My problem with a Rambo video game is it emphasizes the sequels. Some burly white dude fights non white dudes in the name of freedom. In which case it was spunkgargleweewee before spunkgargleweewee....

I guess I would've want of such a video game if it was Tropic Thunder.... Though they would have to still replace Ben Stiller with someone like Nicolas Cage or Bruce Willis if they were really going for a good video game....

But back to Rambo. If they really, really wanted to make a good Rambo video game then it would only be based on the 1982 movie, First Blood. It could probably outdo GTA 4 in telling a story about a man who wants to go somewhere but is blocked of by crooked cops.

And if they had any sense of humor at all they could add in a Cat Skin for Rambo.... DAMN YOU CROOKED SHERIFF WILL TEASLE!.... All Rambo wanted was a Cheeseburger!

Lmao, This looks terrible. I can deal with the outdated graphics, but the mechanics of the game look like any shitty game they try to bring out before the movie. I've never heard of the studios that pop up at the beginning.

Star Trek Discovery Season 2 was amazing. Significant improvement over season 1. Bringing in captain Pike, Spock and the Enterprise as well as tying the entire Discovery series into the timeline and canon of the original series was well done and extremely entertaining to watch. I wish they didn't f*ck up the klingons as much as they did in season 1, because aside from that Discovery is now a solid show that ranks up there with TNG and Voyager for me.

Finished Ultraman on Netflix, the story was good but it left too much unanswered... and the biggest travesty was the CGI. Holy cow it was wildly inconsistent and mostly all bad. The distance shots looked like some PS1 stuff, like they didnt know what shading was. They spent all the money on the final fight which was awesome, and then the last few minutes got really bad.

I need to buy a lawn tractor soon.. maybe this weekend. The last lawn tractor I owned was a piece of crap hand me down that nickel and dimed me to death until I got rid of it and got a decent push mower instead. But my yard now has just over an entire acre of just grass. No way in hell I can push mow that. I might get a Cub Cadet or John Deere tractor. I need to see what might be on sale. I had the lawn mowed at the end of last year right when we moved in and its $40 per mow. x_x

I never watched the original Fruit Basket because the description just sounded too silly. The premise of all anime is that at least one of the protagonists has a flaw. Luffy can't swim, Inuyasha turns human on the full moon, etc. I just generally dislike when a flaw is so overwhelming it's a massive inconvenience. BUT Since the simuldub started Friday I'll be watching the reboot. It seems to have a huge following and the first ep was quite good.

Watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse tonight and I have to say the movie was spectacular and definitely lived up to all the hype surrounding it. Probably one of my favorite superhero movies now and I fully understand why it won an Oscar.
Story was great from start to finish, though I really don't know what to think of the animation style it certainly worked in this movies favor (a little jarring at first but I was definitely starting to feel it toward the end), and while I'm not usually into the music used into the show I have to say the soundtrack is fucking awesome. Kinda wish I would of went to see this in the theater but that didn't really diminish my enjoyment of the movie.
Really hope we get another one like this (seems there is a sequel of sorts in the works and a few spin-offs as well) because it definitely deserves one. I also have to say the Spider-Man Noir is probably going down as my favorite Spider-Man.
