I haven't read much about the warrior changes, is it for WvW and PvP only? Or does it apply to PvE as well? I wish they'd address the Guardian's speed. It seems every class has a trait or signet to increase their speed. Guardians only have 2 skills and a staff attack that gives small 3-6 second swiftness boosts. You can be left in the dust in zerg rushes. Thankfully everyone is using their skills that grant swiftness to those around them, but still, trying to catch up can be hell.

I'm excited about the trading post and crafting menu revamps.

It doesn't say it is for PVP only so I'm assuming it includes pve. Are there many skill differences in pvp? I know gw1 eliminated some elites from pvp and changed some skills specifically for pvp, and when you switched to that mode you'd see the differences in your skill bar. But I haven't noticed any references yet to pvp or wvw skill changes in gw2. I should look it up.

This patch is making changes to the guardians elite skills but it doesn't say what changes exactly.

My brother mentioned the same thing. He said PVP is basically full of the equivalent of 100 star battlefield veterans sitting on shit buckets. Its so one sided that you either have to stop playing PVE and dedicate all your time to become a PVP expert or you don't have a chance at all. He did seem to like the WvW tho.

*edit*

Oh! I thought the living story was something different and ended with The Dragon's Reach Part 2 and we were getting some massive new content already. ^_^; This is what happens to me when I post on my phone while watching a movie. XD

I wish my charr was level 80 already. Conditions don't usually bother my necro. I have no problem removing, inflicting or eating Conditions for hp. Almost every skill I have is condition related. Depending on my skill setup I can transfer all conditions from all allies to myself, then transfer them to an enemy and then spread the conditions on that enemy to all others in the area. Lol. And then I can go into plague form and inflict all enemies with a variety of conditions for 20 seconds, and then repeat. XD

When you get to 80, you'll find that the skills and moves that you were accustomed to dominating no longer do so. XD The lvl 80 Risen can continually inflict conditions as fast as you can remove them. You may benefit from not having cool downs, but they will drain your meter fast. Fighting mobs becomes deadly. The Mordrem inflict agony, which the the most deadly of all conditions. My Greatsword of the Sunless does it as well and I love it. Its kind of like poison or bleed out except it lasts longer and takes life away a lot faster. I think Agony is only in living world, Tequatl, and Fractals of the Mist. Infusions are the only way to gain agony resistance in which I have none. I want to actually get a legendary weapon before spending that amount of time on any infusion.

Lol. That's cool, my condition setup is only good in a group of ppl anyway. My standard power build is decent enough for my range level but in higher areas I get dominated on easily. I think I'm going to get some new gear on the trading post. A few basic things like better accessories and what not for a few silver each. I realized that my charr doesn't have a single earring equipped and he's already level 57. Those must drop about as often as an under water breather.

They don't drop at all I think. Do you visit the karma merchant at each heart when you complete their task? They generally sell stuff like that. It sucks that you cant salvage it when you find something better, but its more wallet friendly to do so. The heart vendors always sell a cheap and an expensive version of each trinket, the latter sometimes behing double the price of the cheaper one. I didn't buy a single wearable upgrade from the TP. I got them from karma vendors, laurel vendors, and the WvW tourney rewards.

Ah.. I was under the impression I should save all my karma points until I hit level 80 to buy some armor with. Ive only spent maybe 10 karma since I've owned the game. Since those heart merchants only take karma I've been ignoring them. ^_^;

XD You're such a hoarder! You'll need about 500k karma to buy a complete exotic set. But once you hit 80, doing world boss trains and the temples of orr will get you what you need pretty fast.

Gold/Silver/Copper are much more rare and accumulate 1000x slower than karma. I probably get 50k-100k of karma a week doing level 80 stuff.

Wow. O_O I'm not a hoarder in real life but in games I definitely am. I'm really bad with my in game items for all games that I play. Especially rpg games. I had probably 10,000 items in FF7. X_x I'm glad gw2 has a "sell junk" option. I didn't realize at first and I ended up putting 30+ bone fragments and something else in my bank thinking that I'd need them for something eventually. ^_^;

Or a Mithril node.... -_-; I guess I won't be playing AW today. I gotta knock out this story and explore the new area of Silverwastes.

EDIT: UGH... what a cliffhanger! You're lucky you'll get to play most of these consecutively until you catch up....

It looks like the new nodes are only "very rare drops" from black lion chests. I'm not going to buy a bunch of keys with actual money just for a chance of getting one. But these new ones are sellable. Ppl were listing then at around 700 gold a piece last night. The mystic forge node is apparently the most common one. Those were 33 gold as of last night.

Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 2 continues January 13th!

Interesting, Logan enters the fray. Trahearne has played a very small part. Rytlock has had the most epic part of the story so far. Caithe recently joined adding more questions than answers... and now Logan enters Living World. He's always had a close bond with Caithe... it will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

      I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
      We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

      Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

      FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

      This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
