Battlefield updated their website today as a teaser to the official game reveal on March 27, 2013. Their website is displayed as a window that is fogged over and covered with moisture. With a little mouse work you can partially reveal what appears to be an IFV. Aside from the words "The more fans who log in, the more we'll reveal" there really isn't anything revealed just yet.

From what I've been reading it will be next console, PC and current consoles. It'll be 64 players on all platforms except for PS3 and Xbox 360, which will be 32. It makes no sense to me why they would even release it for the current systems.

Considering how amazing BF3 looks on PC, BF4 will probably be one of the most impressive games released over the next year.

Well PS2 sold new games well into PS3's lifespan, maybe they are doing this just in case people aren't ready to make the jump yet. I have a feeling that will be the case even though myself will be an early adopter for the next xbox. They'll be walking a thin line if they keep this trend up however... In one sense, you are catering to people that are holding on to their old consoles, instead of forcing them to make the jump to get new content. On second hand, how long will next gen games have to suffer to limit them on the new platform in order to be able to water them down for the old platform.

I think the only reason some of these games will be released across both old and next gens is because the initial game development was started for the current gen systems. I have a feeling that after the new consoles launch, new games for the current gen will only be made by the smaller developers.

btw, I read on Battlefield's facebook that by logging in during this one week period will apparently unlock some new dog tags. I have no idea if they mean dog tags for BF3 or if they will be for BF4.

:P You haven't played BF3 max settings on the PC have ya? Its leaps and bounds more beautiful than the PS3 or Xbox. Its def the most beautiful game ever created IMO despite what Crysis fans will say. I could believe the FPS shot is a legit in game pic, especially since they already have a running product. The one thing I'm noticing is the birds... If the next xbox can handle over 2 trillion floating objects at once, I expect to see birds, and realistic rain, and other neat nuances in the environment.

The lighting in the fps shot is also accurate to what it is in BF3 PC with the halo glare effect.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow at the big reveal :P

Damn! I'm so left behind by not having a gaming PC. :( I've seen plenty of videos of BF3 on PC.. it does look amazing, but I guess I'd need to experience it instead of seeing a youtube video to fully realize the amazing quality.

btw, I logged into the battlefield site using google chrome and I finally got to see the new dog tag I unlocked. Apparently their site does not like Firefox. The other day I just figured they didn't have enough people logging in to actually show me something.. Nope, it was just a firefox incompatibility issue. I'll be sure to use chrome to look at their site tomorrow. ^_^

The PC version is graphically better, fully compatible with a wired xbox controller and more of the map is used on conquest... there are flags E and F on bigger maps.

I think this gen there will not be a gap. but I'm liking how the FPS pic has the optic and the the iron sites to the left. I'd like to see that utilized. I've always been an iron sights guy, but there are instances I could use a optic... especially if I've unlocked a IRV scope.

Medal of Honor Warfighter had quite a few guns with multiple scopes and iron sights. It was a nice change compared to BF3 and CoD Black ops 2. I was able to switch between an ACOG, to a RDS, and rotate the gun over to iron sights. Of course I can't find a video of it at all tho. It was great for taking on enemies at all ranges.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
