Battlefield 4 Naval Strike Official Trailer

Sledgstone

Battlefield 4™ Naval Strike expansion pack takes the all-out war to the sea with four new multiplayer maps. Available on March 25 for Battlefield 4 Premium members and April 8 for all.

The hovercrafts should add a good dynamic to the combat. Quickly traveling across land and water will make them really useful.

Gah, I hate water combat so damn much but that looks so freaking fun especially if we get to use old school cannons. So torn between liking and hating this. Thankfully I'm off on Tuesday so I'll have plenty of time to figure out whether I like this or not.

It looks like PC players have already been unlocking the new weapons and gadgets because their profiles are showing them as already owning the new DLC. Unfortunately, we can't unlock anything yet on PS4 until we actually download Naval Strike. Anyway, I read on twitter that the new Anti Aircraft mine was already fixed because of an exploit.. and they also put it in the same category as launchers. The fact that DICE had it equipable along with stingers in a single load out boggles my mind. As if helicopters don't have a hard enough time against mobile aa and stingers already, they thought half a team running with aa mines and stingers could have worked out fine. wtf. -_- I'm glad there is an assignment for the new aa mine. With more people using it instead of stingers, helicopters might have a better chance.

I've been playing these maps the last 2 days now.. Oh, and I saw you online tonight Strider, but I didn't join your match.. sorry, I was getting into these Naval Strike maps too much. ^_^;

The Naval Strike maps are great.. but DICE really needs to fix the lag issues they are having. My brother in another state with a wired connection and fast internet experienced the same amount of horrendous lag as me, so it must be a server issue. I really don't understand how everyone is playing in that lag. Maybe they are closer to the DICE servers or they are simply pushing thru the lag problems. Only 1 in 10 conquest matches I've joined are even remotely enjoyable because of the lag. When it does work, it is great. I tried a couple rounds of Carrier Assault and it is epic. 64 players of carnage.. I still prefer conquest more because carrier assault matches seemed to go pretty fast.. but it suffers the same annoying lag as conquest. This is probably why the PC and Xbox One versions were delayed. I swear "Premium 2 weeks early access" should really be called "Premium 2 weeks beta testing".

Me and my brother decided to try domination on the NS maps.. and that was amazing. These maps on domination should be compared to the Close Quarters DLC from BF3. Two of the maps are inside carriers and I haven't enjoyed domination this much since the game mode was initially released on that BF3 DLC.

No prob Sledge, I was just on fucking around in some Conquest matches (and being a beast of a support, I had 189 resupplies on the Operation Locker match I was playing (got me my second Ammo Medal)) and getting better at Engineer (I must get beyond this damn starting rocket launcher, Strider hates it he does).

I tried out some NS maps Tuesday night since the dlc wasn't available Tuesday morning when I got home from work. I gave up after one Conquest match due to that horrendous lag you mentioned. I couldn't take more then 5 steps without being killed because apparently the other team was all of a sudden just their (not sure if they were experiencing the lag or not but they didn't seem to be). After that match I went back into Second Assault maps because I don't run into any lag on them. I'm beginning to believe Premium is their beta test for these DLC's and kinda wishing they'd of held off on releasing them 2 weeks early for us if these are the same problems plaguing the PC and XBone versions.

I'll probably give them a shot again before I go to bed this morning or before I go to work, depends what I feel like. I will say though I do like Operation Mortar, nice open map with a lot of room to fight (just really sucks with lag).

I played support on locker once on Double XP weekend using a 100% boost stacked on it and leveled up 3 times in a match... Sledge was with me. I got over 40 ribbons. XD XD XD I'll have to get that on youtube. I have it on facebook.

I've been playing Naval Strike Conquest and its damn good. If you want to get into a non-lagging match, go to the server browser, go to search, hit R3 to bring up the search box, type in test... you'll find the DICE Naval Strike test servers. NS Conquest runs perfectly on those.

      I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
      We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

      Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

      FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

      This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
