TV
Sleepy Hollow (TV show)
Ichabod Crane wakes up from the throes of death 250 years in the future to find the world on the brink of destruction and learn he is humanity’s only hope. From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the “Star Trek” and “Transformers” franchises, “Fringe”) comes the adventure thriller SLEEPY HOLLOW. In this modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison, “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen”) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie, “Shame,” “American Violet”) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

Almost Human
Looks very good and high production for a tv series
Judge Dredd meets iRobot
Karl Urban + JJ Abrams = awesome
cant wait
The show will be predictable, solve murders each week, while the robot teaches the human what it means to be alive
and how the human grows to trust the robot
but this is one ill be following
Also i am glad when film stars do TV shows as the quality is usually higher (24)
but the worry is they don't like to be tied up for too long due to a film deal that pays way more for a lot less time

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD First Promo
Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel's feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon ("Marvel's The Avengers," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." pilot co-writers ("Dollhouse," "Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog"); Jeffrey Bell ("Angel," "Alias"); and Jeph Loeb ("Smallville") comes Marvel's first TV series. "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
Anyone know how they brought Agent Phil Coulson back from the dead?

Syfy Announces ‘Ringworld’, 'Helix' and...
Syfy is finally making more Science Fiction series. They announced multiple new projects to a group of advertisers yesterday at their annual Upfront event. Aside from the highly anticipated Defiance series which will be premiering next Monday, Syfy has been less known for Sci-Fi and has become more focused on wrestling and reality shows. While it does not appear that will be changing, at least they'll be re-embracing the genre that started their network. Here is a list of the new shows with some brief descriptions:
